Recently, Sacramento Current’s Patrick Kennedy recently sat down with Michael Rehm, who is running for Council District 4. Here’s the interview.
About Michael Rehm:
I was born and raised in Sacramento. I attended Holy Spirit, Christian Brothers, Sacramento City College, and McGeorge SOL. From there I practiced criminal defense at The Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York. I have been back practicing out of my Land Park office since. I am a political outsider. But I know how to negotiate, especially in hostile environments and get the job done. The next four years present a golden opportunity to develop Sacramento into its full potential. We need to embrace this and build. I hesitate to say we need to move forward, because if we look at our past we will find the right direction. From Edmonds Field to John Sutter, the city was founded by ambitious, creative individuals that were willing to take risks to improve their quality of life. I do not advocate foolish risks, but I do believe that the city needs to take steps to improve the quality of life, without being paralyzed with fear over possible doomsday scenarios. Sacramento is a great city; it has the potential to be one of the greatest cities, if we take advantage of what we already have. To learn more visit http://www.michaelrehm.com
