Recently, Mitch Netto, candidate for District 6 in the Sacramento City Council race, made himself available for a phone interview to be broadcast on the Sacramento Current Podcast. Have a listen to hear about his views on city government.
Here’s his campaign statement:
Sacramento doesn’t need more politicians wasting our time and money building political empires or catering to special interests. We need common sense community leaders who will push to solve real problems and get our city back on track. I’m not running to start a political career – I am running to protect taxpayers, clean up Sacramento and kick-start our economy so businesses can create jobs and the city can restore vital services. I’m a businessman who created a progressive diversity program for HP, helped integrate new technology for a local hospital and served as CIO of a local agency where I modernized technology to improve customer service and reduce costs. As a homeowner, I want to ensure our city is providing critical services – like police and fire protection, good parks and neighborhood services. And, I will support efforts to revitalize downtown to create jobs and excitement in our city. I’m asking for your support -and your vote- to create real change and get Sacramento back on the right track. To learn more, go to www.netto2012.com
